EXCLUSIONS

Volvo accessories, wear items and consumables are excluded.  Below are some of the most commom parts excluded from the Volvo Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty.  Please note that this list is NOT all-inclusive.

• Belts
• Timing belts
• Batteries
• Spark plugs
• Wiper blades

The Customer Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty is applicable exclusively to direct customers and does not extend to third-party purchasers, including independent repair shops, body shops, or individuals buying parts over the counter without installation by an authorized Volvo dealer. For such transactions, a warranty of two years from the purchase date covers defects in the part replacement only, excluding labor costs. Any part failures resulting from installation errors are not covered by the Volvo Part Warranty.

Note: This warranty is exclusively for the original purchaser of the part and is non-transferable. Proof of prior purchase and installation at an authorized Volvo dealer is required for coverage validation. Notably, this warranty does not extend to parts replaced under your Volvo New Car, Certified Pre-Owned, or VIP Warranty. In the event of repairs conducted under these warranties, coverage will be provided for either the remaining warranty balance or 90 days, whichever duration is longer.

Volvo Car USA, LLC guarantees that new Volvo Genuine replacement parts (excluding accessories and consumable parts as previously specified) installed at an authorized Volvo dealer are free from material or workmanship defects. However, this warranty does not cover parts requiring replacement due to external influences.
